JOHN E. RILEY DIED AT HIS HOME NEAR KENNARD

John Earl Riley, who lived southeast of Kennard, died at his home early Tuesday morning, March 18th. The deceased was 66 years of age. He was a retired construction engineer. The Blair Rescue Squad was called to take him to the hospital, but the trip was to no avail.

Mr. Riley was born in Omaha December 7, 1908. He grew to manhood there.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah and by two daughters and a son. There are also nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The daughters are Mrs. Bonnie Nelson of Omaha, and Mrs. Colleen McInroy of Fremont. The son is John Riley, Jr., of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at the Campbell Mortuary Friday afternoon, March 21st. The Rev. John Fritzmeier, pastor of the Kennard Methodist Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Ridge Municipal Cemetery at Fremont.
