WINNIE M. RILEY, 73

Funeral services for Winnie M. Riley, 73 of Fremont, who died April 9, 1990, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County are 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at the First Congregational Church, UCC in Fremont. Capt. Jimmy Wilson and Rev. Dr. Norman Pavey are officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.

Winnie McDonald was born October 26, 1916 in Fremont. She was a lifetime Fremont resident, except for 18 years in Omaha during which she was head cook at the Omaha Home for Boys. After retiring, she returned to Fremont.

She was a member of the Salvation Army Church and a former member of Arbor Vitae No. 92, Order of the Eastern Star.

She married George Riley, Sr., September 22, 1933, in Fremont. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, George Riley, Jr., of Arlington; two daughters, Peg (Mrs. Richard H.) Kirchmann of Fremont and Patricia (Mrs. Dennis) Bender of Omaha; a sister, Thelma Fox of Scottsdale, Arizona; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandsons.

A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army Church.

Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.

There will be visitation Thursday from 9 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home and from 12 noon until the time of the services at the church.
