LEONA RINAS, 81
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for Leona Rinas, 81 of Arlington who died Wednesday, December 27, 1989 at Arbor Manor Nursing Home. Rev. Michael L. Rogers is officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery at Arlington.
Leona S. Rinas was born April 13, 1908 in rural Arlington, to William and Annie Stork Gnuse. She married Paul S. Rinas August 16, 1933 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington.
They farmed near Arlington until 1977 when they retired and moved into Arlington.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul who died June 6, 1989; and a brother, Martin Gnuse.
She is survived by a son, Larry Rinas, Arlington; brothers, Lawrence Gnuse and Ed Gnuse, both of Arlington; Raymond Gnuse of Omaha and Al Gnuse of Carpenteria, California; a sister, Lenora (Mrs. Oscar) Scheer of Arlington and three grandchildren, Brent, Chad and Krisann Rinas.
Pallbearers are Robert Gnuse, Brent Rinas, Chad Rinas, Arlen Gnuse, Dalvin Scheer, Vince Straub, Dave Pettit, Jim Fluckey and Donald Gnuse.
Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is handling the services.
