EDWARD RINGLER, 57, DIES AT OMAHA

A former Fort Calhoun resident died Friday at an Onawa, Ia., hospital.

Edward R. Ringler, 57, Sioux City, was returning with his wife from a Council Bluffs business trip. Near Blencoe, Ia., on Highway 75, Mr. Ringler suffered a heart attack. He died about two hours later.

Mr. Ringler lived at Fort Calhoun 12 years. He moved to Sioux City in October, 1956 to become manager of the Farmers Union Co-operative Association.

Besides his wife, Muriel, he is survived by a son, Wayne of Fort Calhoun; and a daughter, Mrs. Lois Hickok, of Tulsa, Okla.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Harris, Ia., with burial in the Harris Cemetery.
