VERNA RIPPE
Services for Verna M. Rippe, 83, of Tekamah, who died Friday evening, November 21, 1986, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after a brief illness, were held on Monday, November 24, 1986, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Chapel in Tekamah with Rev. David Nystrom officiating. Burial was in the Tekamah Cemetery. The Hamel & Peck Funeral Home of Tekamah was in charge of all arrangements.
She was born on September 24, 1903, at Elmwood to William and Ida (Patton) Harley.
She was married to Harry J. Rippe on September 5, 1923, at Sidney, Iowa. Her husband died on March 28, 1976.
Mrs. Rippe is survived by one daughter, Nila (Mrs. Dayle) Hopkins of Tekamah; one grandson, Myron L. Rippe of Blair; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Oscar Geschke of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
