Lila J. Pedersen, 62, died Thursday, April 10, 1997 at Immanuel Medical Center.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. She donated her body to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Pedersen was born at Herman Oct. 2, 1934, the youngest child of Chris and Ida Vinderslev. She attended Thone School and graduated from Herman High School in 1952. She retired on disability from Mutual of Omaha and resided in Blair for many years.

Survivors are her brothers, Leonard Vinderslev, Chokio, Minn. and Chris Vinderslev, Friend, Nebr.; sisters, Dorothy (Mrs. Harold) Magill, Hooper; Vivian Kraemer, Smithfield, Va.; Darlene Dodge, Omaha; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters and one brother.

Memorials may be given to the Blair Rescue Squad or the Herman American Legion.
