MRS. RONALD BACHMAN, 36, DIED IN LINCOLN

Mrs. Ronald Bachman of Lincoln died on Tuesday, December 17th at the age of 36.

She was born in Oakland, Nebraska on November 6, 1938 to Mr. and Mrs. Lane Hogan of Craig.

Mrs. Bachman (Virginia M.) is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Bachman, two sons, Jeffrey and Jay and a daughter, Jill, all at home in Lincoln. Also her parents, and three brothers, Michael Hogan of Sioux City, Iowa, David of Ponca and Brian Hogan of Conrad, Montana.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21st at the Havelock Methodist Church. The Metcalf Funeral Home at 245 North 27th Street in Lincoln was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bachman, formerly of Blair, is a coach at the Wesleyan University in Lincoln.

SERVICES FOR MRS. RONALD BACHMAN SATURDAY, DEC. 21

Services for Mrs. Ronald (Virginia Hogan) Bachman, of Lincoln were held at the Havelock United Methodist Church on Saturday morning, December 21st. The Rev. Richard Atherton, of the Havelock Church, and Dr. Vance Rogers of Nebraska Wesleyan University, were in charge of the services.

Pallbearers were : Robert Abel, Ralston; Rodney Menking, Fremont; Larry Cook of Beatrice; also Dr. Irving Peterson, Harold Chaffee and Milton Walbridge, all of Lincoln.

Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Bachman, whose husband, Ronald, is on the coaching staff at Nebraska Wesleyan, was the recipient of an Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America Award, early this year. She was a kindergarten teacher at Huntington School.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by sons, Jeffrey and Jay, and a daughter, Jill, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Hogan of Craig, Nebraska, and brothers: Michael Hogan, Sioux City, Iowa, David Hogan, Ponca, Nebraska, and Brian Hogan of Conrad, Montana.

Mrs. Bachman was born November 6, 1938 at Oakland and grew to maturity in her home near Craig. She was a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, was a member of the Havelock United Methodist Church, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Kappa Delta Pi (honorary), Craig Chapter of the O.E.S., A.A.U.W., and Wesleyan Women. She was active in her church, school and civic affairs.

Ronald Bachman was a former resident of the Blair community and both he and his wife were well known in the area.
