OBITUARY OF WAYNE RINGLER

Wayne Clifford Ringler was born on January 8, 1923 at Harris, Iowa, to Edward and Viola Ringler, and passed away May 30, 1975, after a long illness.

He graduated from high school at Harris, Iowa, and entered the armed forces in 1943. On April 12, 1944, he was married to Betty Grady at Blair, Nebraska, and was discharged from the service on November 11, 1945.

In August of 1948 the Ringlers moved to Fort Calhoun where they have resided since that time.

Wayne was a member of the Fort Calhoun Fire Department for many years, and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was always interested in sports and young children and he coached Little League baseball for years. Wayne was also a member of the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, where funeral services were held for him on Monday, June 2, 1975.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, David and daughters, Maria Ringler and Linda Halford, all of Fort Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his parents. Other relatives surviving include one sister, Lois Hickok of Wichita, Kansas; grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Ringler of Milford, Iowa; and Niel Halford and Angela Ringer.

A host of friends and relatives also mourn his passing.
