Kennard Farmer, 63, Died Tuesday After A Five Month Illness

Funeral services are being held at Kennard this afternoon for Frank Jahnel, 63, lifetime farmer of that vicinity who died early Tuesday at the Methodist hospital in Omaha following a lingering illness. Bedfast since May, Mr. Jahnel had been taken to the hospital Sunday.

The services are being held at 2 p.m. at the Kennard Methodist Church, the Rev. David Simpson of Arlington officiating and interment to follow in the Kennard Cemetery. The Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jahnel, Sr., Mr. Jahnel was born south of Kennard March 16, 1879. He and Miss Maude Mae Wright of Kennard were married January 28, *1914, and have since resided in the Kennard vicinity, their present home being north of Kennard.
