Services were Sunday, April 7 at Faith United Methodist Church in Hooper for Erma I. May, 73 of Hooper who died April 4, 1991 at the Hooper Care Center in Hooper. Rev. Hiram Lilley officiated. Burial was in the Hooper Cemetery.

Erma Jenson May was born November 4, 1917 in Tekamah. She grew up on a farm near Tekamah. She lived in several areas of the United States until 1952 when she moved to Hooper.

She married Charles May January 14, 1935. He survives.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David of Clinton, Missouri; a daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Timothy) Hart of Loveland, Colorado; a brother, Merle of Ontario, Oregon; three sisters, Evelene (Mrs. Russell) Wrinkle and Esther Wulff, both of Ontario, Oregon and Violet (Mrs. Bob) Lawson of Blair; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
