Eula E. Maynard

Eula E. Maynard of Nebraska City died Jan. 10, 2003, at the Ambassador Care Center in Nebraska City.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City, with Rev. William Dressen officiating. Interment will be in the Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.

Eula E. Maynard was born in Farmington, Mo., to John Albert and Mamie (Phillips) Maynard. During her lifetime, she lived in Los Angeles, and moved to Nebraska City in 1983. She was a nurse, and also owned and operated several apartment buildings.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Floy Hohnroth of Nebraska City; Elva and Clarence Schreiner of Blair, Lea and Calvin Pearson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Maynard of La Mesa, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John “Bill”; and sisters, Ethel and Aleta.
