Services for Gladys Mazour of Edgar, 91, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 1996, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Deweese. Father Dennis Hunt will officiate. She died March 12, 1996, in the Community Care of America in Edgar.

Interment will be in St. Martin’s Cemetery near Deweese. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Clay Center.

Gladys Mazour was born Nov. 29, 1904, in Glenvil, Neb., to Elmer and Elizabeth (Boltjes) Frey. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1924.

On Nov. 27, 1928, she married Enos Louis Mazour. They farmed in the Spring Ranch area and in 1953 the family moved to a farm near Clay Center. They retired in 1974.

Her husband preceded her in death on July 1, 1975. She made her home in Nelso, Neb. in 1985 and moved to Edgar in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister and a grandson.

Survivors include daughters Marianne Wolfe of Fairfield and Geraldine Peterson of Oak; sons Leighton Mazour of Waubun, Minn., and Dwaynne Mazour of Blair; a brother Robert Frey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters Mildred Flesner of Hastings and Jeanette Smith of Springfield, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
