Chas. Robertson of Wiggins, Colo., brother of Geo. Robertson and Mrs. John Blaco and Mrs. C. C. Cunningham of this city, who passed away early last week at a Denver hospital after a long illness, was brought here Friday morning where funeral services were held in the Methodist church at 3 p.m., with burial in the Kennard cemetery. He leaves a wife, three sons, Attle, California; Ray and Roy, of Wiggins, Colo., and a daughter, Edith, who lives at home; two brother, Will of Elsie; and George, of this city; four sisters, Mrs. John Blaco and Mrs. C. C. Cunningham, of this city; Mrs. Jessie Tallman, of Fremont; and Alice Menking, of Elsie, Nebr., besides a host of other relatives. Our sincere sympathy is hereby extended to the sorrowing family.

#2-9 Aug., 1923 - The Enterprise - Charles Robertson

Mr. Charles Robertson, son of Wm. Robertson, an old time settler of Washington county, was born near Kennard, Nebr. on April 19, 1873, and passed away on July 31, 1923 at Denver, Colo., where he had been taken for treatment.

Mr. Robertson grew to manhood in Washington county, and was married to Miss Nannie Rosenbaum, also of Kennard, on March 27, 1895. To this union four children were born, they are: Charles Atlie of Berkley, Calif.; Ray, Edith and Roy of Fort Morgan, Colo. His wife and children all survive him.

Besides his family, there are left to mourn his death one little granddaughter and four sisters and two brothers.

The family resided near Kennard, Nebr. until 1900 when they moved to Broken Bow, Nebr. and later for Fort Morgan, Colo., which was his home at the time of his death.

His brothers and sisters are: Mrs. John Blaco, Mrs. C. C. Cunningham and George Robertson of Kennard, Nebr.; Mrs. Alice Menking and Wm. Robertson of Elsie, Nebr.; and Mrs. Jessie Tallman of Fremont, Nebr.

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at Kennard, and many old friends gathered to pay their last respects to his memory. Interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
