Rose K. Siercks, 94, of 2600 Clarkson St. died Friday, Oct. 4, 1991, at A.J. Merrick Manor. She was a homemaker.

Rose Plugge was born Feb. 5, 1897, in Kennard. She lived in Arlington and in Fremont since 1937.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie No. 200, Royal Neighbors and Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She married Julius Siercks Jr. Feb. 24, 1916, in Kennard. He died Sept. 27, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Sterling of Columbus and LaVerne of Borrego Springs, Calif.; a daughter, Lucille (Mrs. Edward) Dolan of Hemet, Calif.; a sister, Lorena Klinger of Moreno Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Ronald Youngerman will officiate. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to A.J. Merrick Manor and the church.

Rose Kathryn Siercks, 94

Services were Wednesday, October 9 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont for Rose Kathryn Siercks, 94 of Kennard who died October 4, 1991 at A. J. Merrick Manor. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Rose Kathryn Siercks was born February 5, 1897. She married Julius Siercks February 24, 1916 in Kennard.

They farmed from 1916 to 1937 in the Arlington area. In 1937, they moved to Fremont.

Her husband preceded her in death September 27, 1981.

She is survived by a son, Sterling, Columbus, Nebraska; and LaVerne, Borrego Springs,California; a daughter, Lucille (Mrs. Edward) Dolan of Hemet, California; a sister, Lorena Kalinger, Moreo Valley, California; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to A. J. Merrick Manor and Salem Lutheran Church.

Bader Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont was in charge.
