Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Perkins, 74

Roberta J. ‘Bobbie’ Perkins, 74, of Blair died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services were Monday, Aug. 31, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel, in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Bobbie Reeh was born on Sept. 2, 1923, at Fort Calhoun to Earl and Theordora (Finch) Reeh. She attended the Fort Calhoun Schools.

After the death of her first husband, Willis Gregory, she married Lyman “Perk” Perkins on Dec. 19, 1947 in DeKalb, Ill.

While living in the DeKalb area, she was a bookkeeper for different companies.

The couple ran Perk’s Tavern in Blair for several years. After closing the tavern, she worked as a corrections officer for the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and also worked for a seed corn company.

She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family and grand-children. She was a good friend to many people.

She was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries. She belonged to the DeKalb, Ill., Moose Lodge.

She is survived by one son, Henry “Hank” Gregory of Dunlap, Ill., and his significant other, Anne Connors; one daughter, Linda Jacobson-Dinley, and her husband, Jerry Dinley of McConnell, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Bob and Jim Rudisill, Henry Gregory III, Gavin, Luke and Andy Gregory, Kimbery Lawson, Daniel Jacobson Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Lawson, Daniel Jacobson III, and Sinjin Lewis; a foster grand-daughter, Pam Gilmore, and foster great-grandchildren, Tara and Amber Gilmore; and foster great-great-grandson, Gage Gilmore; three sisters, Marilyn Kempcke of Blair, Dorothy Floyd of Everett, Wash., and Mildred Nisco of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Warren Reeh of Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman Perkins; a daughter, Maureen Rudisill; her parents, Earl and Theodora Reeh; a sister, Corrine Reeh; two grandsons, Michael and Roger Jacobson; and her first husband, Willis Gregory.
