Arthur Mehrens’ Death Last Week

Information has been received that Arthur Mehrens, a former Blair man, has died at Eagle, Nebraska where he has been Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Mehrens was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mehrens who farmed north of Blair for a number of years. He was 58 years old.

Mr. Mehrens was a graduate of Dana College and at one time won considerable acclaim for his outstanding debate and declamatory work.
