Mildred A. Mehrens, 97

Mildred A. Mehrens, 97, of Blair, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 12, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mildred Anna Mallory was born on Dec. 9, 1909, in Julian to Roswell and Margaret (Ramold) Mallory.

She attended school in Julian, and graduated from Julian High School in 1928.

On April 10, 1950, she married Francis Mehrens.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Jean Marie Mallory of Fort Calhoun; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, and one brother.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
