Cheryl A. Meier, 57

Blair native Cheryl A. Meier, 57, of Omaha died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at the University of Nebraska medical Center.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 1, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.

Cheryl A. Meier was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Blair to Marion and Barbara (Gibbons) Wakefield.

She was a real estate agent and manager for CBS/Home Real Estate, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene, of Omaha; sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Jodi Therkelsen and Matt and Heather Therkelsen, all of Omaha, Ryan Witte and fiancé, Jennifer Thieben, of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Sue Wakefield of Kennard and John and Jeannie Wakefield of Omaha; several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Barbara Wakefield.

Memorials are suggested to the Cheryl A. Meier Memorial Fund.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Wake Service Sun 4 pm St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Dr. Funeral Mass Mon 10 am St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection. Memorials to the Cheryl A. Meiers Memorial Fund. Visitation Sun 3-4 pm at Church.
