Former Herman Man Died At Hooper

Services For Jim A. Meier 56, were held Wednesday afternoon in Fremont. Mr. Meier passed away after an illness of five months.

Mr. Meier was born on May 22, 1910 at Herman, Nebraska. Mrs. Meier farmed for a time in Washington County before moving to the Hooper area where he was also engaged in farming. He was married to the former Miss Dorothy Head.

Survivors include his widow; a son Donald, Hooper; five daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Joyce) Schlueter and Mrs. Ted (Clara) Biram, both of Hooper; Mrs. Charles (Margy) McKenzie, of Fremont; Mrs. Harold (Nina) Bergstrom, South Sioux City; and Miss Diane Meier, Lincoln; four sisters, Mrs. Loren (Dorothy) Pullen, Fremont; Mrs. Harold (Helen) Newland, Longview, Washington; Mrs. Charles (Effie) Myers, Belden; Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Lemmert, North Bend; and 10 grandchildren.
