Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 1989 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lincoln for Dr. Wesley C. Meierhenry, 74 who died December 30, 1989 at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln. Interment is in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Wesley C. Meierhenry was born November 12, 1915 at Arlington, Nebraska to Carl and Anna Niederdeppe Meierhenry.

He married Delsie Boschult.

He was a retired Chairman of the Adult and Continuing Education Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He held an honorary Doctor of Humanitarity Service from Bishop Clarkson College, Omaha.

He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Lincoln Kiwanis Club, a former member of the Board of Trustees of Midland College, former Trustee of Human Resources Foundation, a member of the Educational Advisory Committee since its inception of Bishop Clarkson College of Omaha and a board member of the Combine Health Agencies of Nebraska. He also was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Honorary Fraternity.

He is survived by his wife, Delsie S., of Lincoln; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight and Barbara of Las Vegas, Nevada; Kent of San Francisco; Redge R. and Phyllis of Helena, Montana; three grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Iola Meierhenry of Fremont.

Pallbearers are Dr. Robert Florell, Dr. Quentin Gessner, Dr. Erwin Goldenstein, Dr. Dale Hayes, Dr. Ron Joekel, Dr. Willis Moreland, Dr. Alan Seagren, and Dr. Ward Syboutz.
