FORMER COUNTY BOY DIES IN MONTANA

The Carl Meissner family, who live near Blair, received the sad news today, Thursday, of the death of their son and brother, Emanuel Meissner, this morning at his home at Hilger near Lewistown, Montana.

He had been ill for several weeks with the “flu” and complications set in.

His mother, Mrs. Carl Meissner, has been out there during his illness.

He leaves a wife and two year old boy besides his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Emanuel went out to Montana in 1914 and took a homestead. He was in the U.S. service during the World War, and married a Montana girl in 1920.

He was around thirty years of age. About a year ago, with his wife and baby, he visited his home folks and friends here, and many friends and neighbors will regret to learn of his early death.

He was a hard working young man of good habits and apparently had a bright future ahead of him. Burial will be made at his Montana home.
