Robert “Bob” D. Baker, 67, of Blair, formerly of Peru, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Life Care Center in Elkhorn. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will follow the service in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 at the funeral home.

Robert "Bob" D. Baker was born Dec. 10, 1946, in Omaha, to Mark and Naomi (Holmes) Baker.

He married Linda Unzicker on Jan. 4, 1969, in Peru, Ill.

He was a longtime manager for Leslies Shoes in Peru. He retired from Menard's in Omaha.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Nugent of Peoria, Ariz., Kori Suarez (Peter) of Peru, Ill., and Christopher Baker (Tonya) of Fort Knox, Ky.; mother Naomi Garner of Blair; sisters Cheryl Erickson (Derald) of Arlington and Beverly Brase (Donald) of Blair; brothers Lewis Baker (Beverly) of Omaha and Randall Baker (Susan) of Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Baker; his brother, Gary Baker; and his stepfather, Gilfred Garner.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be at 11am Monday, November 11 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair, Nebraska. VISITATION will be 5-7pm Sunday, November 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in the Blair Cemetery.
