J. Vincent Roche, 90, of San Bernardino, Calif. Died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. A scriptural wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18th at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

J. Vincent Roche was born Nov. 28, 1910, in Wood River Neb., to John and Grace Anna (Hopper) Roche.

On June 2, 1934 he married Marion Dierks at St. John’s Catholic Church in Omaha.

Mr. Roche was a grain inspector superintendent for A.D.M. Grain Company in Omaha for 38 years, retiring in 1975. Mr. Roche had lived for the last 14 months in San Bernardino with his son, Gene.

He is survived by his son, Gene of San Bernardino, two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Kathy Roche of Wymore, Neb., and Ronald and Jo Roche of Kennard, a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Rick Huey of Blair, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister, Thelma Roche, both of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion, and a sister Alice Grimmond.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church Building Fund. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
