MRS. ROLLO M. ALLEN BURIED WEDNESDAY

Services were held Wednesday Sept. 20 at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Rollo M. Allen who passed away at the Blair Memorial Hospital on Sept. 17, 1967. The Rev. Keith H. Sackett officiated.

Dorothy Christensen was born March 10, 1912 near Ft. Calhoun, Nebr. to Mr. and Mrs. Martin Christensen. She passed away at the age of 55 years after nine months of illness. She was married to Rollo M. Allen on May 15, 1934. They were parents of two sons, Mark of Millard, Nebr. and David of Omaha, Nebr.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen lived most of their lives on a farm south of Blair. She was a member of the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church and was a Past Worthy Matron of Naomi Chapter 121 O. E. S. of Ft Calhoun.

Mrs. Allen showed her love and concern for her community and friends by active support of the Washington County Council of Home Extension Clubs. She was named Rural Home Maker of 1957.

She is survived by her husband, two sons and seven grandchildren. Also four sisters, Mrs. Ann Neuman, Ft. Calhoun, Nebr., Mrs. Emma Born of Oakland, California, Mrs. Myrtle Blankenfeld, Lompoc, California, and Mrs. Lorraine Wise of Blair. Four brothers, Albert of Bennington, Mack of Tekamah, Vic of Omaha, and Russell of Rte. 6 Omaha. One brother Chris preceded her in death.

Burial was in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery with the Siever Mortuary in charge. Pallbearers were Harry Lund, Albert Rathjin, Pierce Allen, Carl Hansen, Marvin Heise, and Fred Ehlers.
