Mr. Frank Edward Byers passed away Monday, May 27th at the Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

He was born November 15, 1896 to Mr. and Mrs. Abram Byers at Kennard, Nebraska and was 71 years of age at the time of his death.

On June 19, 1926 he and Irene McCrill of Blencoe, Iowa were united in marriage. They made their home on the farm at Kennard where Mr. Byers was born. They moved to Blair in 1956 and were residing at the Park Side apartments at the present time. Since their retirement they have spent much of their time traveling.

Mr. Byers is survived by his wife and three sons: William of Kennard, Dwight of Omaha and Allan of St. Charles, Missouri. Also nine grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Delight McHenry and Mrs. Carrie Smith of California. A sister, Mrs. Chelsea Whitford preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Kennard at 2 P.M. on Friday, May 31st. The Rev. Richard Atherton will officiate. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements and burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Keele, Jr., Howard Moyer, Jack Hogue, James Hogue, Leland Hogue and Newell Keele.
