Mrs. Inger Christiansen, 86-year-old Kennard woman died at Memorial Community Hospital at Blair last Saturday, October 25th. She was the wife of the late Jens P. Christiansen who farmed in the Kennard area for many years.

Mrs. Christiansen was born in Denmark March 2, 1883 and came to this country many years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Orville Alllison (Trena) of Tekamah; Mrs. Elmer Desler (Marie) of Omaha. A son, Vernon, lives at Kennard. There are ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard with the Rev. Arden Dorn conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, was made in Blair.*

Grandsons were pallbearers at the services. They were: Dale Desler, Richard Keeven, Brian Christiansen, Donald Allison, Allyn Allison and Steven Sibbernsen.
