Anna Kempcke Died This Morning

Mrs. Anna Kempcke, wife of the late Gus Kempcke, died early this morning at the home of her son, Earl, near Kennard. Death was attributed to a heart attack which came as an aftermath of a siege of the flue. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Kempcke is survived by her son Earl, and a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Williamson (Rhoda) of Omaha. Two grandsons and one great grandson also survive.

A complete obituary will appear in Monday’s Pilot Tribune. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard. Rev. Laursen will officiate with burial in the Kennard cemetery.

Anna Kempcke Rites Held Sat.

Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Anna LaVinna Kempcke, 80 years of age, of Kennard, who died Thursday.

The services were held at the Kennard Emmaus Lutheran Church, the Rev. Harold Laursen officiating with interment in Kennard Cemetery.

Mrs. Kempcke, who was born July 9, 1884 at Washington, Nebraska, is survived by a son, Earl Kempcke of Kennard; daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Williamson of Omaha; and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette French of Blair. Her husband, August, preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were Harry Andreasen, Earl J. Thompson, Arthur Thunn, Roy Rosenbaum, Art Kempcke and Orlo Kronberg.
