Jacob Macheprang of 549 North 22nd Street, Blair, died at the home of his son Carl in Crete, Nebr. Monday, March 11, 1968.

He was born in Germany January 29, 1893, and was 75 years of age at his death.

On November 26, 1919 he was married to Hulda Anna Hammann at Bloomfield, Nebr. His wife passed away in 1966.

He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Robert Sass, Agnes, of Bennington, Mrs. John Rix, Thelma, of Clearwater, and Mrs. William Plugge, Margaret, of Kennard; and by two sons, Carl, of Crete, and Duane of Elkhorn. There is one brother, Matt, living at Bloom-field, Nebr. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday, March 15, at 1:30 P.M. in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Blair. The Rev. Stanley Peterson officiated.

Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased: Marvin, Marion and Lyle Mackeprang; Ronald Sass; Steven Rix; and Tom Plugge.

Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha with Bendorf Funeral Home in charge.
