Funeral services for Axel Edward Nielsen will be held Tuesday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church. He had died Friday at the Blair Clinic where he had gone for consultation with his doctor.

Mr. Nielsen, who lived at 1978 Park Street, was born in Blair June 9, 1899 and had lived in this county all of his life. He was a farmer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Martha, and by two sons and two daughters.

The sons are Donald E. Nielsen of west Nebraska street, Blair and Robert Nielsen, also of Blair. The daughters are Mrs. Edgar Kinnett (Elaine) of Eugene, Oregon and Mrs. Robert Storz (Janet) of Omaha. There are nine grandchildren.

Four brothers survive. They are Pete, of Fremont, Alfred of Kennard, Gifford, of Fremont and Carl of Eugene, Oregon. There are two sisters, Mrs. Lester Hansen of Schuyler, Nebr. and Mrs. Ivan Hovendick, of Herman.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. tomorrow at the First Lutheran Church and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
