Carl Puls, age 93, died Monday morning at his home in Bennington, Nebraska.

He was born December 7, 1872 in Schoenberg, Germany. He came to America with his father and brother and they made their home with an uncle.

On September 18, 1901 he married Anna Bergman and they moved to a farm east of Bennington where they lived until 1906 when he bought a farm 4 ½ miles east of Bennington where they made their home until 1945, after which they moved to Bennington.

He is survived by one son, Fred Puls of Bennington, four daughters, Margaret of Bennington, Mrs. Charles Wrich of Blair, Mrs. Gene Fergusen of Omaha, Mrs. Alvin Wulf of Kennard; also eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Bennington with Rev. Norman Schroeder officiating. Burial was in the German Cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons. Gene and Leland Bunz, Carl D. Puls, Delbert Braesch, Ronald Wulf and Roger Wulf.
