Mrs. Claus Schneider Died At Home Thursday

Mrs. Margaret (Claus) Schneider, of Kennard, died suddenly at her home Thursday morning, June 8th. She was resting on the porch of her home when she was apparently stricken with a heart attack. Mrs. Schneider was 67 years old.

The deceased was born at Scribner, Nebraska February 14, 1900. She grew to woman-hood in that area and was married to Claus Schneider. For a number of years they farmed in the Maney school area and later moved to Kennard where they have since made their home.

Mrs. Schneider is survived by her husband, Claus, and a son, Arlen, of Kennard. There are five grandchildren.

Four sisters also survive. They are Mrs. Carl Schneider, of Kennard; Mrs. Harry Lindell, of West Point; Mrs. Charles Patterson of Carter Lake, Iowa; and Mrs. Ed Braun, of Wisner, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held today (Monday) at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington with the Rev. Paul Schroeder conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, will be made in the Kennard Cemetery.
