#1 ALBERT SORENSEN DIED AT FREMONT TUESDAY, MAY 26

Albert Sorensen, long time resident and farmer in the Kennard area, died Tuesday, May 26th at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont. He was 74 years of age, having been born September 14th, 1895 near Kennard.

He had spent his entire life in the Kennard vicinity and was known by many there. For the past 27 years a brother, Andrew Sorensen and his wife, Faye, had lived with Albert and cared for him. He spent his entire life on the same farm and his interests were in his home, the farm and the raising of livestock.

His parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Sorensen, preceded him in death as did four brothers, Sorn, Niels, Clarence and Frank, and one sister, Mrs. Elmer Lund (Alma).

He is survived by three brothers, Andrew, Ola and Lester, all of Kennard and one sister, Mrs. Carl Lund (May) who resides in Fremont. A sister-in-law, Mrs. Clarence Sorensen lives in Wayne, Nebraska and there are several nieces and nephews.

He was baptized in the Lutheran faith when an infant and continued his association with this church throughout his life.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 29th at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard, with the Rev. Arden Dorn conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home was made in the Kennard Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Jacob, Ernest Jensen, Howard Williamson, Alfred Nielsen, Harold Misfeldt and Bob Wilkins.
