Funeral services were held Saturday for Rev. Peter Larsen Thorslev, 81 years of age, who died Thursday at Memorial Community Hospital.

The services were held at First Lutheran Church, the Rev. Geo. Palleson officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Rev. Thorslev, who was born in Denmark March 11, 1885, was a retired Lutheran minister. He served the Kennard Lutheran Church as pastor for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; sons, Paul K. of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Peter L., Jr., of Lost Angeles, Calif. and John P. of San Francisco, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Charles Shirey (Louise) of New York City, Mrs. Howard Lynch (Priscilla) of Boston, Mass., Mrs. George Kelm (Ruth) of Los Angeles and seven grandchildren. Sisters, Martina Jensen and Mette Simonsen, both of Denmark; Oline Christensen of Union City, New York; and a brother, Lars Larsen, of Denmark.

Pallbearers were Phillip Larsen, Dr. C.C. Madsen, Rev. Clifford T. Hansen, Marius Hansen, Rev. Marius Jorgensen and Holger Schultz.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
