Byron Melvard Services Are Thursday

Funeral services for Byron Paul Melvard, 75, Fremont, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Melvard died Monday morning at the Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

He was born June 22, 1909 in Arlington.

Mr. Melvard was a retired Greyhound bus driver. While working for Greyhound bus lines, Mr. Melvard lived in Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and California. He also lived in Cedar Bluffs.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 12 AF & AM at Rock Springs, Wyoming.

On April 15, 1932 he married Ann C. Wolfe at Auburn. She survives.

Other survivors include one brother, Richard of Arlington; four sisters, Mrs. Donna Svanda of Ravenna, Mrs. Doris Karn of Long Beach, California, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Sukstorf of Fremont and Mrs. LaRoy (Evelyn) Williams of Cedar Bluffs.

The Rev. Kelly Karges of the First United Methodist Church will officiate the Thursday service. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the Heart Fund or to the First United Methodist Church.
