SERVICES WERE SATURDAY FOR 21 YEAR OLD JOHN ROGERT

Services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 23rd, for 21 year old John Rogert of 411 South 17th Street in Blair. Mr. Rogert was found dead in his apartment on Thursday December 21.

Local and State investigation officers were called in on the death. An autopsy was performed.

County Attorney Darvid Quist listed the cause of death as accidental hanging.

The 11 a.m. services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

John Rogert was born on November 10, 1957 at Blair, Nebraska. His parents, Emmett and Betty Rogert survive him. Also surviving are six sisters. They are: Mrs. Jon (Sally) Schroder, Omaha; Joan, Patty, Jill, Suzanne, all of Blair; and Angela of Kansas City, Missouri.

John was a 1975 graduate of Blair High School where he had been an outstanding football player and athlete. He had also been very active in the Blair Jaycees. John was working with his father in the Rogert Oil Company of Blair. John was also a member of the Blair Fire Department.

Pall bearers were Jeff Warren, Brad Taylor, Jim Conrad, Dave Backman, Howard McManigal and William Hardy.
