Norman Rogert

Norman Rogert was born September 9, 1912 on a farm west of Herman, Nebraska to Chas and Emma Rogert (Petersen) and passed away October 23, 1985 at the Blair Hospital at the age of 73.

He attended grade school at Hill Creek Country School and high school at Herman.

He was married to Dorothy Miller at Papillion, Nebraska on November 12, 1937. To this union, one son, Roger, was born.

Norman worked at the Martin Bomber Plant during World War II. After the war, he operated his own independent garage for 25 years. After retiring from the garage business in 1968 for health reasons, he held numerous jobs until his final retirement in 1981.

He leaves to survive him, his wife, Dorothy; his son, Roger; one granddaughter, Stacy; two sisters, Mrs. Jens (Lola) Jensen of Blair; Gladys Janssen of Omaha; brother, Darlow of Weatherby, Missouri; four nephews; one niece; and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 25 at First Lutheran Church with the Reverend Carl Schattauer officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
