CAROL ANN SPRICK, 69

Carol Ann Sprick, 69, of Fort Calhoun, died Monday, June 7, 2004, in Omaha.

Funeral services were Friday, June 11, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Carol Ann Sprick was born July 7, 1934, in Omaha to Richard and Clara Sievers.

She married Duane Sprick in 1954, and throughout her lifetime, she lived in many locations in the United States and abroad due to her husband’s military career.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Naomi Chapter No. 121; Chi Omega Sorority; the Presbyterian Women’s Association; served as a church deacon; was a charter member of the Presbyterian Quilters Group; and for 25 years was the church organist at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, Duane, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Carl Grotelueschen of Schuyler; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Holly Sprick of Lenexa, Kan., Stu and Diane Sprick of Fort Calhoun; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and William Winkler; six grandchildren; nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Emily Sievers.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church Building Fund, or the Fort Calhoun Rescue Squad.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
