Mary M. Peter, 83

Former Blair resident Mary M Peter, 83, of Wichita, Kan., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Visitation with the family is from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.

Mary Margaret Peter married Warren William Peter on Oct. 11, 1942, in Omaha. With unconditional love and selfless concern, her main mission in life was to bring comfort and happiness to her family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Stewart and James Young of Wichita; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Greg Peter and Sandra Holmes of Chelsea, Mich., and Brad Peter of Wichita, Kan.; brother, Wayne Fisher of Iowa Falls, Iowa; sister, Jean Flynn of Blair; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were great sources of joy for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, and a son, David Warren Peter.
