Bea Kay Peters Passes Away at Blair Hospital

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Rockwell City, Iowa on Tuesday, May 26th, for Bea Kay Peters of Blair who passed away at Blair Memorial Hospital on May 23, following surgery.

Officiating ministers were Gary Sheely and Ron Boss. Pallbearers were Clarence Murphy, Steve Ellis, Allen Kretlow, Dean Sabus, Evan Kretlow, and Duane Hammen. Interment was at Rosehill Cemetery in Rockwell City.

Bea Kay Peters, daughter of Clifton A. and Ruth Storm Boyd, was born at Lake City, Iowa on March 12, 1942. She graduated from Rockwell City High School in 1960. She then worked for the Calhoun County Assessors Office for a number of years. She made her home in Rockwell City until moving to Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1974. In 1977 she returned to Rockwell City, where she lived until moving to Blair in August of 1980. She was a member of First Christian Church in Blair.

Preceding her in death was her father. She is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Peters, at home; her mother, Mrs. Ruth Boyd of Fort Dodge, Iowa; one brother, Jerry Boyd of Blair; her grandfather, George Storm of Rockwell City, Iowa and other relatives and friends.
