Services for Edna I. Peters, 81 of Bloomfield and formerly of Fremont who died June 9, 1992 at her home were Friday, June 12 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Bloomfield. Burial was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Edna I. Peters was born April 10, 1911 at DeSmet, South Dakota. She moved with her family to Fremont at an early age. In 1937, she moved to a farm near Bloomfield and returned to Fremont in 1970. She moved back to Bloomfield in 1986.

She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, the Crystal Extension Club and Royal Neighbors Lodge, all of Bloomfield.

She married Henry Peters in 1937. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Caron Peters of Blair; a son, Henry Peters of Bloomfield; a stepson Nolan Peters of Lincoln; three sisters, Frankie Johnson of Hastings; Nancy Pettit of Fremont and Eleanor House of Chamberlain, South Dakota; three grandchildren and two step-grandsons.

Brockhaus-Scott Funeral Home in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
