Elderly Arlington Man Falls From Car As Impact Causes Car Door To Open

The Washington County highway claimed one life on Thanksgiving Evening, November 23rd, and placed one other person in the hospital in critical condition as a result of a two-car accident, Albert A. Meier, 79 of rural Arlington, was killed when his car was hit by a car from Council Bluffs, Iowa at the intersection of the Marshall Nursery road and Highway 91 approximately seven miles west of Blair.
