MRS. GEORGE ROHWER, FORT CALHOUN, DIED THURSDAY

Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. George Rohwer, 69, years of age, Fort Calhoun, who died Thursday at Memorial Community Hospital.

The services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Don Killin officiating, with interment in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mrs. Rohwer is survived by her husband, George; son, Robert Rohwer of Muscatine, Iowa; daughters, Mrs. Harry Risney (Catherine) of Missouri Valley, Iowa and Mrs. Lyle Denniston (Beth) of Washington D.C.; brother, Fred Ream of Ohio, and ten grandchildren.

Mrs. Rohwer was born June 29, 1896 at Broken Bow, Nebr. She was active in community affairs on local and county basis.

Mr. and Mrs. Rohwer recently observed their 46th wedding anniversary while on a vacation trip to Hawaii. She has been a resident of the Fort Calhoun area since 1920. Pall bearers were Paul Kruger, Ed Lorenzen, and William Stratbucker.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
