Miss Katie Rohwer died Tuesday, February 15th at the Blair Community Memorial Hospital where she had been for two weeks.

She was born January 12, 1893 in Washington County. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rohwer.

Miss Rohwer made her home with her brother Henry Rohwer in Wranch School district. She was 79 years of age at the time of her death.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Otto Olson (Minnie) of Ceresco, Nebraska and Mrs. Nels Andersen (Ann) of Thermopolis, Wyoming; four brothers; Harry and Carl of Omaha, Claus and Henry of Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 18th at 2 o’clock at the Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun. The Rev. Keith Sackett will officiate. Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be six nephews: Larry Fifer of Commerce City¸ Colorado, Lumir Caha of Ceresco, Nebraska, Erick Larsen of Hornick, Iowa, Wm Rohwer and Jim Anderson of Omaha and Marvin Rohwer.
