Blair native Jane V. Rolan, 88, died March 4, 2005, in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 9, also in Des Moines.

Jane V. Rolan was born in Blair to Joe and Bertha Jane (Dulaney) McManigal. She attended school at Hamil, S.D. and Blair, graduating from Blair High School in 1935.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe McManigal of Blair; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Rolan Sr., and son, Ron Rolan; three sisters and two brothers.
