Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 3, 1987, at Payson Funeral Home chapel for Luella Edna Rolfs, 75, of Pine, Arizona, who died of cancer on October 29, 1987.
She was born September 7, 1912, at Herman to Jay and Maude Stokes, and grew up in the Herman area. She was married to Raymond Rolfs and they farmed near Valley for 52 years, moving to Pine one and a half years ago.
She is survived by her husband Raymond of Pine; one son, James of Pine; one daughter, Patsy Lou Dalton of Hiwasse, Arkansas; five brothers, Shirley Stokes of Wilberton, Oklahoma; James and Earl Stokes of Blair, Lester and Jay Stokes, Jr., both of Fremont; two sisters, Laura Petersen of Herman and Mardelle Wulf of Blair; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Mountain Meadows Memorial Park at Payson, Arizona.
