Services for Daniel Gene Romans, 33, of Elkhorn who died September 30, 1995 as a result of a car accident will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 3rd at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun. Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Daniel Gene Romans was born August 12, 1962 in Oakland, Nebraska to Russell and Genevieve Geschke Romans. He grew up in Fort Calhoun and graduated from Fort Calhoun High School.

He was news print foreman at the Omaha World Herald.

He was a member of Elkhorn Community Church.

He married Barb Spracklin October 3, 1981.

He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew.

He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughters, Amanda and Debbie and a son, Nick; his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis Romans and David and Marla Romans, all of Fort Calhoun; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra Bigelow, Blair; Carol and Mark Kucera and Jeff Spracklin and Gary Spracklin, all of Omaha; his father-in-law and wife, Gary and Deb Spracklin; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Spracklin, all of Omaha; his grandmother, Leona Terveer of Bellevue; his grandfather, Mack Romans of Craig; step-sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Painter of Bennington and Lisa and Kevin Turner, Great Bend, Kansas and step-brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Truly Spracklin of Omaha and Mel and Deb Boner of Great Bend.
