Genevieve M. Romans, 73, of Fort Calhoun died May 22, 2007, in Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. A private interment will follow.

Genevieve Marie Romans was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Craig. In addition to Craig, she previously had lived in Tekamah before moving to Fort Calhoun in 1962.

On Oct. 25, 1952, she married Russell Romans in Tekamah. He survives her, as do her sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis Romans, and Dave and Marla Romans of Fort Calhoun; daughter, Debra Bigelow of Craig; and daughter-in-law, Barb Romans of Valley.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Romans, and a grandson, Matthew Romans.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
