Mrs. Ruby Romberg, of Omaha, the former Ruby Thompson of Blair, passed away April 23rd at St. Joseph Hospital following a long illness. She was 59 years of age. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Rollin (Lula) Robinson, of Omaha, Mrs. Katie Marshall of Artesia, California, two brothers, Albert Thompson, of Omaha and Anton Thompson, Jr., of Fremont, Nebraska; several nieces, including Joan Thompson, and one nephew, Ray Thompson, both of Blair. Their mother, Mrs. Hazel Thompson, is a sister-in-law.

Services were held April 26th at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 9 a.m. with burial at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the N.P. Swanson Mortuary.
