THELMA L. CALDWELL, 99

Thelma L. Caldwell, 99, of Blair, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Life Care Center in Elkhorn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday, until the time of the service.

Thelma L. Caldwell was born Oct. 22, 1902, in Walnut, Iowa, to Fred B. and Bertha Mary (Greve) Long. She attended the McCarthy School.

On Nov. 16, 1921, she married Earl C. Caldwell in Fremont. The couple farmed in the Blair area for several years, and Mrs. Caldwell also owned an antiques store in Blair for several years.

She is survived by a brother, Roy Long of Omaha, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Neal Lynn; and three brothers, Weston, Arthur and Howard.
