MRS. C. CALDWELL BURIED IN BLAIR

FORMER BLAIRITE DIED IN ALLIANCE HOSPITAL SUNDAY, AGED 44

Mrs. Charles F. Caldwell, 44, of Lisco, Nebraska, a former Blairite, died at St. Joseph’s hospital in Alliance Sunday after an attack of appendicitis. She had been a resident of Lisco since 1920.

As Theresa Caroline Kegler, she was born in Blair September 27, 1890. She was married to Charles F. Caldwell December 29, 1915.

Surviving are the husband; her mother, Mrs. Wilhelmina Kegler, 503 west Lincoln street, Blair; two brothers, Caesar and Frederick Kegler of near Blair; and five sisters, Mrs. Willard Gustin, Mrs. Otto Kuhr, Mrs. Lester Barton and Miss Minnie Kegler, all of Blair, and Mrs. Andrew Lovestead, Tekamah. Another sister, Mrs. Julia Seabrook, died in September, 1922. Her father, the late Julius Kegler, died in 1926.

The body was brought to Blair, where services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home, with Rev. D.A. McCullough of the Blair Methodist church officiating. Interment was in the local cemetery. #2 Published in the April 4, 1935 Enterprise, Blair, Nebraska

Mrs. Charles F. Caldwell Called

Mrs. Charles F. Caldwell, of Lisco, Nebr., died Sunday, March 31 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Alliance, Nebr., following an attack of appendicitis.

Mrs. Caldwell was a native of Washington County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Kegler. She grew to womanhood in this county where she received her education and here, she met her husband, Charles F. Caldwell, to whom she was married on December 29, 1915 and later moved to Lisco where they were living when she was stricken.

She leaves to mourn her death the bereaved husband; the aged mother; two brothers, Ceasar and Frederick Kegler and five sisters, Miss Minnie Kegler, Mrs. Otto Kuhr, Mrs. Elsie Gustin, Mrs. Antonio Barton and Mrs. May Lovestead, all of this county.
